Briefing starts at 8:00am by the park rangers before you get into the jungle for the trek that will last about 2-5 hours and only 1 hour in the presence of the largest giants on planet earth.
On your gorilla trekking safari Congo to Kahuzi Biega national park, you will trek one of the 9 gorilla families in the park.

After a relaxed breakfast, you will drive through the beautiful landscapes and cross back to Rwanda where you will have an overnight in your preferred lodging facility close to Nyungwe forest national park.

Chimpanzee trekking will last about 2-4 hours where after you return to your lodging facility for refreshment and lunch.
In the evening, you will do an evening canopy walk starting from the Uwinka tourist reception center at the park headquarters.
After about 2 hours of touring the forest canopy, you will return to your accommodation for an overnight.
On the last day of your safari, you will have a relaxed breakfast then be driven to Kigali international airport for your departure flight.
