Virunga National Park


The Virunga National Park formerly named Albert National Park lies in the north-east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on the border with Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountains in the North and Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park in the East.

Kahuzi-Biega National Park


The Kahuzi-Biega National Park is a protected area near Bukavu town in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is situated near the western bank of Lake Kivu and the Rwandan border.

Okapi Wildlife Reserve

The wildlife reserve is situated in Ituri district, northeast of the Democratic republic of Congo; near the border of Central African Republic in the North; Sudan in the North East; and Uganda in the west.

Maiko National Park


Lying east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Maiko is a National Park divided into 3 sectors that spread in a total area of about 10,885Km². It is shared by provinces of North Kivu, Orientale and Maniema.

Upemba National Park


About 1899Km (25Hrs), south east of Kinshasa capital, lies Upemba National Park (Parc National De l’Upemba). The park is situated in the South east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Katanga province, Hauti-Lomami District.
