Bombo Lumene derives its name from two (2) regional rivers and stands as a wonderful Area to explore verdant flora and undertaking an exciting fishing adventure. Standing as the closest National Park to Kinshasa, the Bombo Lemene spreads in the Bandu’ndu savannah grasslands of Democratic Republic of Congo making it a beautiful destination worth exploring.
At 135km from Kinshasa taking about 2 hours of drive, the park is greatly known for picnic encounters, relaxation in the natural environment and swimming. The other exciting encounters to explore on this tour include; scenic drive through the Bombo Valley and cultural encounter with the Bateke Villages.















Wildlife viewing is limited due to insignificant loss of animals but some can be viewed at night at the salt lick. However, besides the limited wildlife, Lumene River is ideally known for Mbega Tiger Fish presenting an opportunity for fishing activity.
